Basic Websites Include:
- Modern WordPress theme “Twenty Eleven” which includes header images, custom menus and sidebar.
- Search Engine Optimization for your site and all pages. This functionality is provided by a plugin that will be installed and configured.
- Security software will be installed to prevent hackers from accessing your website as well as spam filtering software.
- Your custom header image that you provide will be installed or you can use the images provided by the theme or you can choose one of my custom designed headers.
- Every website needs some basic pages such as Contact, About, Privacy and Terms of Service. These pages are included in the package along with a Contact Form that your web visitors can use to email you questions or comments.
- You don’t want to chance losing your content so a scheduled backup will be installed that will automatically backup your content and email you the backup file on a regular basis.
- This package also includes configuring your domain name to work with your hosting account.
How to Get Started With a Basic Website:
- Register your domain name. I recommend using GoDaddy. You will not need email or hosting from them. Just the basic domain name is all that is required.
- Acquire a hosting account. I recommend using Hostgator (either a Baby or Hatchling account). After you complete the registration, you will receive a welcome email. This email has important information in it which I will need.
- Purchase the Basic package below.
- You will be directed to a form to fill out with some basic information.
